The premium for insurance cover is calculated from the valuation you place on your shipment of household goods, personal belongings or motor vehicle. You do this by completing a valuation form prior to the move. Upon receipt of the completed valuation form, Worldwide Move Management will arrange for the insurance certificate to be issued immediately and the cover will be in place from the beginning of your move until 60 days after your move has been completed. Extended cover is also available, if storage of your shipment is required.

In the unlikely event that you need to make a claim for whatever reason, to expedite the process, this is done electronically. The insurance company has loss adjusters in every major city across the world, who help ensure that any claim is dealt with and settled quickly. Of course, your dedicated Move Manager will also be available to assist you with any matter throughout the claim process.

For corporate clients or customers may who require additional services to enhance their moving experience, Worldwide Move Management offer a range of relocation services. As these services tend to be very specialized, we have partnered with the best relocation service providers across the globe to provide a tailored service to meet each customer’s individual requirements.

For customers who want a little extra help, Worldwide Move Management can arrange for Handyman and Maid services to be available at both origin and destination.

The handymen are experienced and skilled professionals who can assist with things like appliance installation, the connection of electrical items, hanging of artwork, mirrors, and light fittings, dismantling and reassembly of pool tables, furniture and other items, installation of home hardware and mounting of televisions, including the brackets they hang on.

 

The maid services are also performed by experienced and professional companies, who specialise in areas such as cleaning services, unpacking and putting away items from cartons into cupboards and closets, general housekeeping duties and other household services to assist our customers with a stress free moving experience.

When moving overseas, Pets are an important part of the move process as they are a huge part of family life. It is only natural that they receive the utmost care during the journey to their new home overseas. Depending on where you are moving to, there are a number of methods to move pets including transporting them in your car if you are driving within your country of residence, taking them with you when you fly to your new destination should laws permit or to have a specialty pet moving company take care of all of the arrangements.

Worldwide Move Management will be on hand to discuss the different options for transporting your pets overseas and will also be able to provide information on inoculations, health certificates, travel approved crates and international regulations that have to be followed when transporting pets overseas. If space permits, cars and small trucks can be shipped in the same trailer or shipping container as your household belongings, or as an individual shipment. There are various services available including an exclusive use trailer service, or car transportation service for Canadian, Australian, US and United Kingdom relocations. For international relocations, we offer shared or exclusive use container services, or a roll on/roll off service. With regard to motorcycles, they are normally overpacked into a custom crate or onto a motorcycle frame and shipped along with household goods or as an individual shipment.
